Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress. She's best known for the role of Jane Seymour, the young girl who would become the 3rd queen of Henry VIII on the television program The Tudors. Briem began her acting career as a performer at National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. When she was a young actress she appeared in a variety of plays in radio and television shows in her home country of Iceland. When she was 16, Briem relocated to London where she was part of a production for the theater of the show Lenin in Love on The New End Theater. Briem attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for a period of three years, and was awarded a diploma in the field of drama.
